Endnote Resources:
An Endnote style is provided for convenience. While the style sheet has undergone testing, there may be cases where unexpected results occur. Put the file in the 'Styles' subfolder in the Endnote program folder. Note that field mapping is not alway literal by the default field names, but the mapping seems to fit the uses by the CHEMS department. If this does not meet your needs or you anticipate this will create problems with existing entries of your publications, contact Carl Lira so a modified style can be distributed.
Journal abbreviations are provided by the term list 'chems.txt'. To install the term list, use 'Tools>Define Term lists>Import list'. If additional abbreviations should be distributed, send them to Carl Lira for incorporation in an updated list.
An example Endnote Library provides examples of how to enter citations into the database.

To enter citations from endnote into the database web page system: 'preview' the citation; use copy/paste to place it in the browser editor box. Follow the directions on the web page system to create italics or greek characters within your citation.
To create a bibliography list in a word processor using a specified style: (1) adjust the desired layout by editing the bibliography layout for the style; (2) select the publications in the Endnote citation list; (3) use Ctr-K, move to your word processor to paste all at once.
