For employers who wish to announce opportunities, there are a couple ways to contact students: the career placement center; the cooperative education office. The arrangements through the career placement center and the cooperative education office are more formal. For summer internships or part-time positions, you can use e-mail. For e-mail distribution, please send an e-mail to Cynthia Sarver, and include "ChEMS employment" in the subject. Students will receive an e-mail notice.

Industrial seminars are a great way to introduce your company to our undergraduates. You may be able to coordinate such a presentation with a campus recruiting trip. Each spring, the AIChE student chapter hosts a Symposium Day when industrial representatives give an overview of some aspect of their career opportunities. Other student organizations welcome speakers for their meetings. We encourage you to contact the appropriate student chapter that most closely matches your interests.
