ABET Program Outcomes for Chemical Engineering

The Department of Chemical Engineering at Michigan State University has adopted the outcome requirements of Criterion 3 of the ABET EC2000, but has revised them to specifically describe the chemical engineering graduate. Their achievement by the graduates of our program plays a major role in accomplishing our Program Education Objectives and is supportive of the mission of Michigan State University.

The outcomes are achieved through our curriculum. The links for each of the outcomes describes the performance indicators that are used to gauge achievement of program outcomes when assessing student work.

The focus on these pages is on achieving program outcomes via the program curriculum. To view a table mapping program outcomes to courses, click here (pdf).
